Rare Super Missile Gas Globe

Possibly Surf Oil Company, history unknown, circa 1950s? Strange flat plastic white inserts on a new red capco frame. There are a couple hand painted "Surf 99" globes out there I have seen two. This globe was found with that one at an auction I attended this weekend in Cleveland. Same exact colors as the Surf-but white flat plastic inserts and the paint is on the surface really into these inserts seems more than hand painted. Inserts are notched. Back has slightly more wear. Strange unique globe...$550.00 SOLD!!!
